Proposed Temporary Road Closure – Malthouse Lane, Hatton - 9 March until Wednesday 11 March 2026

Derbyshire County Council has announced a temporary road closure for Malthouse Lane in Hatton to allow essential water works to take place.

The closure will be in effect from 8:00am on Monday 9 March 2026 until 6:00pm on Wednesday 11 March 2026. The affected section is Malthouse Lane at its junction with Derby Road

The works are being carried out to facilitate a water works installation

During the closure, a signed diversion route will be in place via:

• Breach Lane • Church Broughton Road • Uttoxeter Roadand.

Access will be maintained whenever reasonably possible, and the road will reopen as soon as the works are completed. This may be earlier than the advertised end date
