Parking can be a frequent source of frustration in any community, and it’s often not clear who is responsible for dealing with different types of parking problems. Civil Enforcement Officers (CEOs) have now replaced traditional traffic wardens and are responsible for enforcing a wide range of on-street and car park regulations.

It’s important to know that the Parish Council cannot intervene in disputes between neighbours — particularly when these occur on private land. However, there are places you can turn to for advice and support.

The 2025 Annual Canvass is a process carried out each year to ensure the Electoral Register is accurate and up to date. Every property in South Derbyshire will be contacted to confirm the information held about residents registered to vote.
