Dog Fouling in Hatton – Complaints about dog fouling are increasing across the village, particularly during the darker evenings. Despite previous reminders and campaigns, some dog owners continue to ignore their responsibility to clean up after their pets. The Parish Council has reported the issue to the SDDC Clean Team, who can issue Fixed Penalty Notices to offenders. Parking can be a frequent source of frustration in any community, and it’s often not clear who is responsible for dealing with different types of parking problems. Civil Enforcement Officers (CEOs) have now replaced traditional traffic wardens and are responsible for enforcing a wide range of on-street and car park regulations.
