Temporary Road Closures – Hatton Saturday 12 July 2025 12:00pm - 12:45pm

Please be advised that South Derbyshire District Council has issued a temporary traffic order under Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 to prevent obstructions during a local event in Hatton.

The order will be in effect on:

Date: Saturday 12 July 2025

Time: From 12:00pm to 12:45pm

During this time, the following roads will be closed to all vehicular traffic, including motor vehicles and pedal cycles:

• Jinny Close (including the junction with Station Road)

• Station Road (up to the junction with Yew Tree Road)

• Yew Tree Road (to the junction with Heath Way)

• Heath Way (to the junction with Field Avenue)

• Field Avenue (to the junction with Scropton Road)

• Scropton Road (to the junction with Station Road)

Please note:

• No formal traffic diversion will be provided due to the nature of the local road network.

• Traffic will not be held for longer than 45 minutes.

This order is issued to ensure public safety and to reduce congestion during the event.

Legal Note:This order is made in accordance with the Town Police Clauses Act 1847. Anyone found to be in breach of the order may be subject to a fine of up to £1,000 on summary conviction.
