South Derbyshire District Council has begun the Local Plan Part 2 Review – Issues and Options consultation.
This is the first stage in reviewing the adopted Local Plan Part 2, which contains the non-strategic planning policies and allocations that guide how future planning applications are assessed.
This Issues and Options consultation (Regulation 18) is the first opportunity for the public to comment on what the updated Local Plan Part 2 should include. The Council is seeking views from residents, community groups, businesses and anyone with an interest in the future of South Derbyshire.
The consultation opens on 24 November 2025 and will run until 5pm on 30 January 2026.
